Tutorial - Control LCD modules with the ATTiny2313

Electronics enthusiast Scott Harden is initimately familiar with Atmel's range of AVR microncontrollers, and has written a simple and easy to understand tutorial on how to connect standard HD44780-interface character LCD modules to the popular ATtiny2313 microcontroller. Using a library from an associate, the code is available and should give AVR beginners a simple start with LCDs. The development environment used is AVR-GCC. An example of operation is shown below:
