This unit is basically a wide-angle rear vision mirror which clips over your existing mirror. It features a cool blue anti-glare tint. Built into this unit is a full 1080p full HD event recording camera. It has IR night vision, motion detection recording (saves a separate recording if your car is hit), emergency file lock and more. Across the bottom of the unit are the control buttons. When you are ready to review the video, a 4.3” LCD screen is illuminated in the mirror area. The display only comes on when required and is therefore not a distraction when in normal driving mode. When activated, you can watch live real time view (which of course you can also do by looking through the windscreen!) or playback of recorded video. This product is fantastic if someone tries to make a fraudulent claim on you. It can repay itself almost immediately in these situations.
