This is a good looking, no-nonsense stereo amplifier that will form the heart of an impressive stereo system. The amplifier is rated at a generous 100 watts RMS per channel and has a flat frequency response from 20hz to 20kHz. Bass and treble controls are fitted and provide +/- 10-db cut or boost to help overcome signal problems or just to suit your personal preference. The amplifier also has an infrared remote control so that you can select your input source, adjust the amplifier's volume, select one of the four programmed equaliser response curves, or switch in external signal processing equipment without moving off the lounge. A microphone input with level control is also provided and allows the amplifier to be used as a simple Karaoke system. Screw-down speaker terminals firmly secure the speaker cables and ensure good electrical contact and maximise power output, especially at high volume levels.
