This convenient soldering iron is designed to be powered off any 7.2V rechargeable battery, commonly used in Electric Remote Controlled Cars. The iron is terminated with a 2 pin nylon plug commonly used with Electric R/C Car batteries, and has an inline power switch for that added convenience.
