The lightweight (76 g without batteries) FX-901 Cordless Soldering Iron from Hakko makes it easy to solder on-the-go. This portable soldering iron runs off of four AA batteries (not included), so it is especially useful for soldering in locations without convenient access to a wall outlet, and it maintains a soldering temperature above 600 °F (315 °C). When you are finished soldering, the protective safety cap covers the tip of the iron and keeps the unit off while in place. All of these features combine to make the FX-901 a great tool for electricians, field service technicians, maintenance personnel, hobbyists, artists and home owners.
