The Hummingbird Robotics Kit is designed to enable engineering and robotics activities that involve the making of robots, kinetic sculptures, and animatronics built out of a combination of kit parts and crafting materials.
Combined with very easy-to-use software environments like Scratch, Snap!, and the CREATE Lab Visual Programmer, Hummingbird provides a great way to introduce kids to programming whilst using construction materials that they are already familiar with.
The Hummingbird Duo Premium Kit includes:
- One Hummingbird Duo controller
- Power supply, USB cable, terminal tool, snap-in stand-offs
- Red, orange, yellow, and green single-color LEDs
- Two tri-color LEDs
- Four hobby servos and two servo extension cables
- Two gear motors with wheels and plastic block adapters
- Two vibration motors
- One each of light, temperature, distance, sound, and rotary sensors
- Program in everything from Scratch to Java!
- The Hummingbird Duo premium kit contains everything you need to build an intricate, complex robot with tons of moving parts and flashing lights. Sensors in the premium kit allow your robot to sense nearby objects or humans, sounds, light levels, or temperature.
The Hummingbird Duo Premium Kit is suitable for ages 13 upwards (10 with adult supervision)
