9V batteries are a great source of portable power, but let's face it - they don't last long if you want more than a few milliamps, and they are not real cheap either. This great little converter allows you to use regular Ni-Cd or Ni-MH 1.2V cells, or Alkaline 1.5V cells for 9V applications. Using low cost, high capacity rechargeable cells, the kit will pay for itself in no-time! You can use any 1.2-1.5V cells you desire. Imagine the extra capacity you would have using two 9000mAh D cells in replacement of a low capacity 9V cell. Kit supplied with PCB, and all electronic components.
