This light-dependent resistor module has a special type of resistor whose resistance depends on the amount of light it is exposed to. They make great ambient light triggers (when light in the room turns on, do something). The module has built-in resistors so simply connect them to jumper wires and an Arduino, Raspberry Pi or other system!
