The Smart Outlet is designed for the Smart Home. With this device you can connect between your outlet and your consumer load and by this control your 100-240V home power line easily.
There is a 3.3V power supply and a bee socket inside of the device. So you can connect every Bee module like the XBee, BluetoothBee or WifiBee to it and switch on and off every consumer load up to 10A. For example you can use the Smart Outlet with a WifiBee to control your rice cooker through the Internet or a Smart Outlet with a BluetoothBee to switch your TV on and off using your mobile phone. For what and how you are using it is limited only by your imagination.
