Your cell phone charges off of USB, but can you really trust that charging station at the airport? Now you can control when to allow data in or out of your device with this little USB extension cable. You can plug it onto the end of any USB data/sync cable you have: mini-USB, micro-USB, Apple Lightning, or any other proprietary type. Voila! Your cable's data lines can now be switched on or off.

Not only is it great for privacy and security concerns, it's also good for use with devices that automatically sync when you plug them into a computer. With the data lines off, you can use it while it charges. This is the most useful thing you never knew you needed!

It is super easy to use. Comes with a USB A socket on one end and a USB A plug on the other. In between is an in-line switch that you can set to either "Data" or "Charger". When Data is set, both D+ and D- data lines pass through. When Charger is set, they are both disconnected.

This cable will also work with anything that has a standard USB port. We also have a version that is an all-in-one Micro USB cable.

Please note: Devices don't like it when the data lines mysteriously appear and disappear. We recommend setting the cable function and then plugging in your device.
